What mechanisms are in place for monitoring and evaluation of the national action plan? What baseline indicators or statistical data are provided to monitor progress?

The Statistical Working Party of the Committee on Industry and Business Environment of OECD was originally created for the development of industry level statistics and indicators.

However, only a couple of countries indicate that they have a monitoring and evaluation mechanism in place with baseline indicators or statistical data to monitor progress.

In the view of the Advisory Committee, some of the performance measures presented are purely statistical and do not adequately support the attainment of indicators of achievement.
