The structure of the Information Technology Service Division remains unchanged.

The Office comprises the Logistics Support Division and the Administrative Support Division, which includes the Finance Management and Support Service and the Personnel Management and Support Service.

A class division originally based on military service became more important.

The Establishment Division is the Government entity relating to civil service matters.

In practical terms, this Division will comprise the former Communications and Project Management Division, the network of information centres and the former Information Centres Division, as well as the Public Services Section, the Information Dissemination Service and the Institutional Relations and NGO Section of the former Dissemination Division.

Each subprogramme of the Division establishes performance targets in specific service areas to gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of their performance.

The Information Technology Service of the Division for Management continues to provide substantive information management services for all UNODC information owners.

The variance of 185,800 is due mainly to higher travel requirements in the Information Technology Services Division and the Procurement Service.
