Rather, the subject is regulated by general public procurement law and regulations or, in some instances, by ERA specific legislation.

The directives omit the qualifier standard , predominantly used in other regulations, in describing purchases eligible for the procurement through ERAs.

The need to ensure public availability of procurement regulations was specifically highlighted as such regulations may be used to exclude the application of the Model Law under its article 1 (2)(c).

One of the achievements of the Working Group was the agreement to harmonize procurement related financial regulations and rules and contract documents.

Achievements of the Headquarters Procurement Working Group in the harmonization of procurement related regulations and rules and contracting tools have apparently not yet been replicated at the level of UNON and other field duty stations.
