Based on that projection, the Translation Services actively managed their staffing level, including regular staff, temporary assistance, contractual and off site translation.

If the provision of verbatim records was reduced, the capacity of the translation services would have to be increased the translation of summary records already represented 12 to 13 per cent of their total translation workload.

We are also addressing the challenge of identifying and training impartial and effective interpretation and translation services.

Non post resources relate to travel undertaken by the staff of the Office and contractual translation services.

That estimate had then been used by the translation services as the basis for their capacity planning.

The cost estimates provide for translation services ( 265,000), hiring of a studio ( 105,000) and film processing ( 30,000).

It would be difficult to increase the workload further without increasing the capacity of the translation services.

50. There is a related recommendation discussed in the body of the report of the Board, regarding increasing productivity in translation services and placing greater reliance on contractual services, which presently account for only 15 per cent of the translation output.
