Separate meeting on Financing for Development

The plenary meetings and the separate meeting on Financing for Development will be held in the General Assembly Hall.

In accordance with resolution 59 145, the General Assembly held a separate meeting on financing for development within the framework of the High level Plenary Meeting of the sixtieth session of the General Assembly.

In accordance with paragraph 4 of resolution 59 145, the General Assembly held on 14 September 2005 a separate meeting on Financing for Development within the framework of the High level Plenary Meeting of the sixtieth session of the General Assembly.

The Co Chairperson (Gabon) (spoke in French) I wish to remind members that, immediately following the adjournment of this meeting, the General Assembly will hold a separate meeting on Financing for Development in this Hall.

The General Assembly has thus concluded its separate meeting on financing for development and this stage of its consideration of agenda item 53 of the provisional agenda.

Separate funds for general or special purposes may be established by the General Conference or the Director General.

Their case is separate from the general issue of ethnic immigrants.
