Consideration of admissibility

The Committee, or the Rapporteur for new complaints and interim measures, may agree or refuse to split consideration of admissibility from that of the merits.

Candidates in the field of journalism will be considered if their professional activities are managerial or administrative in nature.

On 8 February 2002, the Committee, acting through its Chairperson, decided to separate the consideration of the admissibility and the merits of the case.

Attitude surveys in the organizations were seen as one possible way of identifying the reasons for the non acceptance of certain recommendations.
