They're never going to intersect with each other.

And they never intersect! They never intersect. So they're on the same plane but they never intersect each other.

Obviously if they were drawn on top of each other then they intersect each other everywhere.

So it's really just two lines on a plane that never intersect each other.

I guess the two would have to be big enough to intersect with each other.

And if they're not parallel to each other, they're going to intersect at a unique point.

Well that's parallel, but imagine they were right on top of each other, they would intersect everywhere.

They're going to intersect the y axis in a different place but theyr'e going to be parallel to each other.

Different y intercepts, same slope, so they're increasing at the exact same rate, but they're never going to intersect each other.

So to figure out where they intersect, we just have to set the 2 y's to be equal to each other.

If two lines that have the same slope and different y intercepts, they're parallel to each other, and they will never, ever intersect.

So that's just a long winded way of saying that three planes that aren't the same plane, and that aren't parallel to each other, will intersect in exactly one point.
