9. United Nations Environment Programme Environment

In this sense the environment may refer to the biophysical environment, the natural environment or the built environment.

The issue of international environmental governance, including a new global entity or agency on environment, was dealt with comprehensively in the IEG process leading to the Johannesburg Summit.
