It commended the work of the Consultative Committee on Programme and Operational Questions (CCPOQ) of the Administrative Committee on Coordination (ACC) and the Joint Consultative Group on Policy (JCGP).

The Committee decided that an organization resulting from a merger of organizations having consultative status with the Council should retain consultative status.

Cooperation between the United Nations and the Asian African Legal Consultative Committee

The Committee, which has since fused with the relevant functions of the Consultative Committee on Substantive Questions (Programme Matters) to form the Consultative Committee on Programme and Operational Questions, will be monitoring the implementation of those guidelines.

This practice will be reviewed at the time of the Consultative Committee meeting.

Additionally, there is an external body of technical advisers under the Consultative Committee.

26. The Consultative Committee on Administrative Questions (CCAQ) is a subsidiary organ of ACC.

The Consultative Committee encourages UNIFEM to report annually to the Consultative Committee on how it has utilized the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women as a basis for programming.

The Consultative Committee on Administrative Questions (CCAQ) had also decided to participate in the discussions.
