As in many other cases of this nature, a prominent pathologist carried out a post mortem examination on Mr. Sabata. He established that Mr. Sabata had been murdered his wounds were not self inflicted.

The South African police said he was shot by mistake, and they said Sibiya Sabata committed suicide.

The recent cases are those of PAC supporters Edgar Mohapi and Sibiya Sabata, both of whom were imprisoned by the South African regime.
