And then its inner membrane, or its cristae, would look like that.

This little convoluted inner membrane, let me give it a label.

And that actually takes place in the inner membrane, or I should say the inner space of these mitochondria.

If I have just one inner membrane we call it a crista.

Now that energy is used to pump protons across the cristae across the inner membrane of the mitochondria.

The membrane is translucent.

And in that case it was in the mitochondria, here the membrane is the thylakoid membrane.

That's its outer membrane.

That's the membrane.

And then you have that little basement membrane like a thin line of membrane called the basement membrane

That membrane's called a phagosome.

I'm going to zoom in on its membrane.

These mutations are found throughout the opsin gene and are distributed along the three domains of the protein (the intradiscal, transmembrane, and cytoplasmic domains).

And this membrane is especially important.

And it starts in the ventral tegmental area.

That's its outer membrane.

Actually, what happens is that a very intricate structure appears.

So we're zoomed in on the thylakoid membrane.

Delivery The expulsion stage

And so basically what you're going to have is this membrane. So we've got a membrane

The membrane working with the chorion is the allantois.

On the side here, this is temporal cortex.

The apical membrane that faces the lumen, it's porous to calcium.

So this is the thylakoid membrane right there.

And lyses just means that the cell's membrane just disappears.

And then this side is normally referred to the basal lateral side, or this membrane, if you view this as a membrane, this would be the basolateral membrane.

Solutes able to freely cross the membrane do not affect tonicity because they will always be in equal concentrations on both sides of the membrane.

Think of this waterproof membrane as the in and out doors of the egg.

This outer membrane, I can do it up here. And I'll just color it in. You don't even have to see the outside of the outer membrane.

It has an outer membrane and an inner membrane just like that.

It penetrates the mucosa.

These negative strands will then form complexes with the N, P, L and M proteins and then travel to the inner membrane of the cell, where a G protein has embedded itself in the membrane.

The bacterial outer membrane is found in gram negative bacteria.

This is another layer of protein, just like the basement membrane, but different composition of proteins.

And then this bubbling, this membrane bubbling, is the hallmark of apoptosis in this cell.

The process of uncoupling means that when protons transit down the electrochemical gradient across the inner mitochondrial membrane, the energy from this process is released as heat rather than being used to generate ATP.

In this process they become enveloped in a layer of peritoneum.
