And these things can all be swapped around to change the properties of an atom, or even go from an atom of one element to an atom of another element.

In the video where we introduced the atom, I went off a bit about how at the center of an atom we have the nucleus, and it's actually a very small fraction of the total volume of the atom.

So if I multiply everything by two, I end up with two molecules of ethane plus seven molecules of diatomic oxygen, seven O2's, yielding two molecules of carbon dioxide oh, sorry, I'm multiplying everything by two, so four molecules of carbon dioxide, plus six molecules of water.
