The conference requested the General Secretariat to re circulate to Member States the SESRTCIC study in order to obtain their views thereon, deferred the matter to the 34th session of the PFC for further consideration and study, and requested the General Secretariat to submit a report thereon to the 33rd session of the ICFM.

During the eighteenth session of the Tribunal, the Committee on Budget and Finance gave consideration to the matter on the basis of proposals presented by the Registry.

Russia has decided to contribute approximately 60 million to the 14th Replenishment of the International Development Association for 2006 2014.

It would have been preferable to have received the financial figures at the first part of the forty fourth session, even if only indicative figures could be given.

Expenditure from the fund of 42,111 was incurred in providing assistance to eligible participants in the meetings of the Finance Committee and the Legal and Technical Commission during the tenth session.

The Conference approved the Personnel Regulations together with its annexes as amended by the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts (IGWGE) set up by the 33rd PFC.

At INC3 and INC4, an informal contact group established by the plenary developed and further elaborated elements on financial resources and mechanisms for possible inclusion in the Convention.

The CHAIRMAN said that item 120 (Financial reports and audited financial statements, and reports of the Board of Auditors) would have to be postponed to the resumed session of the General Assembly, owing to the fact that the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (ACABQ) was not in a position to make recommendations on those reports.
